Single Vehicle Accident In Moccasin Township Results In Injuries

Moccasin Township, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office:

WHAT:                      

• Single Vehicle Crash With Injuries

WHERE: 

• 1600th Avenue at 100th Street, Moccasin Township

WHEN:

• August 2 at 5:15AM

VEHICLES:

• Unit 1- Gold 2004 Jeep Carryall

DRIVERS:                 

• Unit 1- Cloey N. Haddix, 19, of Beecher City

PRELIMINARY:      

• Unit 1 was southbound on 100th Street when the vehicle went off in the gravel to the right side of the road. Unit 1 over corrected and left the roadway to the left. Unit 1 struck the dirt pile and went airborne, stopping in a bean field.

CITATIONS:

• Driver of Unit 1 was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

TRANSPORTS:

• The driver of Unit 1 was taken to HSHS St. Anthony’s Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
