UPDATE: Boil Order For Select City Streets Lifted

UPDATE: The boil order for the below listed streets has been lifted by the City of Effingham Water Department.

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham water department has issued a boil order for the following streets:

West St. Louis Avenue

• From North Merchant to the cul-de-sac on the west end on both sides of the street

North Main Street

• from West Virginia Avenue to West St. Anthony Avenue on both sides of the street

These streets are temporarily without service due to water main repairs. Once repairs are complete and water service restored, the boil order will follow until further notice.
