Denver, CO-(Effingham Radio)- Denver police are increasing security for members of the Colorado Supreme Court following last week’s ruling that disqualified Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot.
The Denver Police Department said it’s investigating threats against the justices and is providing extra patrols around their homes. The FBI is also investigating the threats and is working with local law enforcement. This comes after the court ruled Trump engaged in an insurrection through his actions leading up to the 2021 U.S. Capitol riot and is ineligible to appear on the state’s presidential primary ballot. The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to review the ruling.
