Illinois Lawmakers Push Bill To Help Make Prescription Drugs More Affordable

Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Two Illinois lawmakers are pushing a bill designed to help make prescription drugs more affordable.

State Representative Nabeela Syed and State Senator David Koehler introduced a measure that would create a board of health care experts that would have the authority to set price limits on prescription medications. If signed into law, Illinois would become the ninth state to have a Prescription Drug Affordability Board.
