Highland Man Involved In One Vehicle Accident With Injury In Fayette County Friday

Fayette County, IL-(Vandalia Radio)- A Highland man sustained serious injuries in a one vehicle accident on Friday evening in Fayette County.

Illinois State Police reports say the accident occurred on East 900 Avenue at Carlyle Road on Friday at 4:50 pm. For unknown reasons, a side by side being operated by 24 year old Dylan M. Apken of Highland went off the roadway and struck a tree. State Police say that Apken and a passenger were transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
