Charleston, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Regional Superintendent, Dr. Kyle Thompson, of the Regional Office of Education #11 (ROE #11) was thrilled to host Illinois State Superintendent, Dr. Tony Sanders, to the region. The visit took place on April 25th, providing an invaluable opportunity to engage with educational leaders, teachers, students, and stakeholders across the region.
During the visit, Dr. Sanders had the opportunity to witness firsthand the innovative initiatives and educational programs spearheaded by our region. The tour included Charleston Community Unit School District #1’s Trojan Agriculture & Manufacturing Center and Mattoon Community Unit School District #2’s regional innovation and technology LIFT Center. This visit underscored the State Superintendent’s commitment to fostering collaboration statewide.
