Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office announced the addition of K9 Deputy Dale back in December, and it didn’t take him long to become friends with not only those in the Sheriff’s Office, but also members of the community. Effingham County Sheriff Paul Kuhns stopped by the studio to talk about how he heard about the program to bring Dale to the Sheriff’s Office, and how the community has responded to his presence after just about 6 months on the job.
You can listen to the interview below.
We would like to thank Sheriff Kuhns for taking time to give more perspective on how K9 Deputy Dale has positively impacted the community and Sheriff’s Office. It’s always nice to hear how simply having a dog present can make all the difference in the world.
This is part of a series of monthly interviews with Sheriff Kuhns. Next month, the interview topic will be the implementation of the SAFE-T Act, and what impacts it has had on the Sheriff’s Office and community.
