On Wednesday, Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, took a private tour with their two sons through the new exhibition dedicated to the singer at Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The exhibit, “Luke Combs: The Man I Am,” opened on Friday, and Combs and his family got an early first look. Combs knew his young sons were too young to appreciate the museum’s collection of their dad’s artifacts honoring his legendary country career, saying “I just wanted to have those pictures of going through it with them.”
“I was definitely not a guy that you thought would have his own exhibit in the Hall of Fame —and that was a lot of people’s opinions when I moved here,” Combs admitted. “It was like, well, maybe he could be a songwriter, you know, good luck or whatever. Not that that was everybody’s sentiment, but to me, it’s always felt like a bit of an underdog story.” (People)
