Man Sentenced To 70 Years For Murdering His 2yo Daughter In Peoria

Peoria, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A man is receiving 70 years in prison for murdering his two-year-old daughter in Peoria. Shamari Williams was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to the killing of Emorri Green in May.

The child was found in February 2022 inside a home on Northwest Perry Avenue unresponsive, not breathing, and with no pulse. She had bruising all over her body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
