Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library will host a book sale on Friday, November 8th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The book sale features new, lightly used and vintage books in a wide array of categories. Some of these are fiction, history, mystery, cooking, Christian, large print, military, biographies, nature, sports, travel, gardening, romance, young adult, graphic novels and manga, audiobooks, sci-fi and self-improvement.
Children’s books will be also be available for purchase. There will be picture books and easy readers for levels 1-4 as well as chapter books, perfect for your elementary and middle school aged children.
“The holidays are almost here” says Assistant Director, Alvin Ealy. “If you’re looking for a thoughtful gift to get for someone, it’s hard to go wrong with a book or two.”
No items will be sold prior to the book sale date. Donations of good, slightly-used books are accepted at the library check-out desk during regular library hours. Proceeds from the sale will go toward special projects at the library.
