Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham would like to congratulate K9 Officer, Jeremy Kyle, on being awarded Employee of the Quarter as a part of the City’s Employee Recognition Program. The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who demonstrated either distinguished or extraordinary service during the fiscal quarter or other accomplishments that typically go unnoticed but are worthy of recognition.
Officer Kyle was nominated because he has performed above and beyond expectations over this past quarter. Officer Kyle recently went to Tennessee with the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police Disaster Response Unit to help fellow police officers affected by the hurricane. Through the ILFOP, Officer Kyle also teaches Project Blue Life, which educates citizens and other community members on important aspects of law enforcement across the state of Illinois. He is also an integral member of the Effingham County Dive Team, which is a voluntary position, as well. Additionally, Officer Kyle assists with educating school-aged children who are interested in law enforcement. He fulfills each one of these roles in a positive and impactful way, making him a vital part of the police department and Effingham community.
The City appreciates your continued participation in our Employee Recognition Program. If you notice a City employee going above and beyond to serve you, please let us know by calling City Hall at 217-342-5300, emailing jkemper@effinghamil.com or by using the Effingham Connection App!
