Due to inclement weather the following schools & businesses will be closed today, Monday, Jan 6th:

• Olney Central College will be closed. All classes are cancelled. New student orientation is rescheduled for Friday, Jan 19th from 2 to 4 pm in the Learning Commons
• Lake Land College closed at all college locations
• Millikin University is closed
• Kaskaskia College and all Education Centers are closed
• Rend Lake College Campus Virtual Day

• Rumpke Trash Service for customers in Effingham and throughout south central Illinois will be delayed. Rumpke will operate on a one-day delay for the rest of the week.
• CEFS EFFINGHAM COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION will be cancelling ALL BUS SERVICES Monday.  This includes ETRAX and the counties of Shelby, Christian, Moultrie, Montgomery, Effingham, Clay and Fayette Counties. Normal services will resume on Tuesday January 7th.
