Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Tesla is voluntarily recalling over 230-thousand vehicles in the U.S. over rearview camera malfunctions. The vehicles being recalled include 2024-2025 Model 3 and Model S sedans, along with 2023-2025 Model X and Model Y SUVs.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the recall this week, citing a computer circuit board shortage as the reason for the rearview cameras failing to display images. The agency says Tesla owners can install a free over-the-air software update to fix the rearview camera issue.
