Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- More than 70-million students and teachers’ data is at risk.
PowerSchools, the biggest cloud-based education software provider in the nation, notified K-12 schools about the incident earlier in the month. But now new information about how far the leak went is coming out.
The stolen data included Social Security numbers and medical information. A new report from cybersecurity news outlet BleepingComputer said the breach impacted 65-hundred school districts and included more than 62-million kids.
