Details Of Effingham City Amusement Tax Explained In Interview With Jodi Thoele

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham has had an “Amusement Tax” for quite a while, but not much is known about the tax since it has been implemented. Lots of other cities have the same tax for city events, and Effingham implemented it recently to help bring more revenue for events and talent to come to the area for the community to enjoy.

Jodi Thoele, Tourism Director for Visit Effingham, explained what the tax is, when it is used, and how it benefits the community.
