BRIEF SYNOPSIS:
- A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was stopped at the intersection of 1425th Street and Route 45 facing east. Unit 1 turned northbound onto Route 45 from 1425th Avenue into the path of Unit 2, who was travelling northbound on Route 45. Unit 2 collided with the front passenger fender of Unit 1, causing Unit 2 to lose control. Unit 2 then entered the southbound lanes of Route 45, colliding with the drivers side of Unit 3 who was travelling southbound.
TRANSPORTS:
- The driver of Unit 2 was taken to HSHS St. Anthony’s Hospital by RuralMed EMS with non-incapacitating injuries.
CITATIONS:
- The driver of Unit 1 was cited for expired registration and failure to yield or stop at an intersection.
