Karl Von Smith, age 54 of Flora, passed away on March 21, 2025, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.
Karl was born April 13, 1970, the youngest son of Charles and Vivian (Drews) Smith in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
Karl loved music. He played the guitar quite well and sang at different events. Karl was a deep thinker and loved to analyze different situations.
Karl is survived by his brothers Roger (Patty) Smith of Opdyke, Illinois, Charles Smith (Melissa Kibler) of Olney, Illinois, Jeff Smith of Murphysboro, Illinois, Rick (Carolyn) Wallace of Liberty, Missouri and several Nieces and Nephews
Karl was preceded in death by his parents.
