Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A popular laundry detergent is being recalled due to possible bacteria exposure. Manufacturer Reckett issued a voluntary recall for Woolite Delicates Detergent, which is exclusively sold on Amazon.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the recall is for over 16-hundred units of its 50-fluid ounce bottles. Customers will receive a refund. The recalled products may contain a bacteria called Pseudomonas oleovorans [[ soo-duh-MOH-nuhs oh-lee-oh-VOR-uhns ]] which can cause serious infection to those with weakened immune systems.
