Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 65 year old Merton L. Scroggins of Farina for an Effingham County FTA warrant for an attachment for contempt. Merton posted bond and was released.
Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Brandon S. Cook of Effingham for possession of <5g of meth, possession of hypodermic needle, an Effingham County FTA warrant for meth possession, and an Effingham County FTA warrant for criminal trespass. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
