Effingham County Write-In Votes Tallied

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Effingham County Clerk Michelle Kollman has announced that write-in votes have been tabulated from yesterday’s consolidated election.

These totals include all the ballots cast thru election night.  We may have more as more vote my mail ballots come it so these number may change slightly.  Those ballots will not be processed until after April 15.

Also, we mailed out 1,244 vote by mail ballots.  As of yesterday 468 of those ballots have been returned and counted.  So that leaves 776 ballots still out.  These vote by mail ballots must be postmarked the day of election for the to be counted.
