Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City Council went over the fiscal year budget during their meeting Tuesday.
City Administrator Miller said the revenues are consistent and expenditures haven’t changed. The Council is expected to adopt the budget at their next meeting.
Two Council members were absent Tuesday, Merv Gillenwater and Hank Stephens, which prevented the Council from acting on a few different items. The Council was able to approve a contract with Milano and Grunloh of Effingham for airport extensions and a project by the Sexual Assault and Family Emergencies agency to put ribbons up downtown.
The next City Council meeting will be April 15th at 5pm.
