Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Effingham Child Development Center (ECDC) is proud to announce that its recent fundraising campaign successfully paid off the center’s mortgage—made possible by the outstanding generosity of the Effingham community.
This milestone strengthens the 501©3’s long-term mission, allowing even greater focus on its mission of providing high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The campaign’s success was made possible by the collective support of local businesses, families, and individuals who support ECDC’s mission of providing not-for-profit childcare and investing in the future of area children. A particularly generous donation from a local family, who wishes to remain anonymous, played a pivotal role in reaching this goal.
“We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of support from our community,” said Leah Tedrick, ECDC Board Chair. “By eliminating this financial burden, we can now dedicate more resources to enhancing our programs, supporting our educators, and enriching the learning experiences of the children we serve.”
ECDC is a 501©3 not-for-profit daycare in Effingham that provides childcare for children six weeks to thirteen years old. To learn more about ECDC or how to support its mission, visit https://effinghamchild.com.
