Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)- On Wednesday, April 9th, eight members, Mrs. Siemer, and Mr. Bolin of the South Central FFA Chapter journeyed to the Illinois State Capitol for Ag Legislative Day.
The members and teachers left early and spent the entire morning exploring the building and meeting many people. They visited with our local representative, State Representative, Blain Wilhour , and Senator Jason Plummer. They also assisted with the delivery of Illinois Commodity Baskets and lunches to legislators and their staff. They got a picture with the Director of Ag, the Lieutenant Governor, the Governor, and many other FFA members.
