EFFINGHAM, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following was released by the Effingham Police Department:
“On Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 Effingham Police Officers arrested Jesse S Tucker, 24, of Altamont, on a charge of Home Invasion.
It is alleged that on July 19th, 2019 Tucker forced entry into a residence located at Lakewood Manor Mobile Home Park.
Upon entry into the residence, it is alleged that Tucker threw items inside the home and damaged property.
Tucker then struck an occupant of the residence.
The occupant of the residence was injured but did not seek medical treatment.
Tucker and the occupant of the residence had formerly been involved in a relationship.
The Effingham Police Department was assisted by the Altamont Police Department.
Home Invasion is a Class X Felony, punishable by 6 – 30 years in prison. “
