Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Dozens of people from Effingham area Catholic schools and parishes attended the March for Life in Washington, D.C. Jan. 24.
Prior to The March for Life, students and adults from St. Anthony H.S. and Parish joined with the Diocese of Springfield to celebrate Mass at St. Peters Church in Washington, D.C. Bishop Thomas John Paprocki of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois praised the pilgrims for their holy pilgrimage and challenged them to live out virtue through, “Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.” This picture is taken of the pilgrims on the steps of US Capitol.
