Springfield, IL -(Mattoon Radio)- Local police departments could be in line to benefit from the millions of dollars in legal cannabis tax revenue.
Governor J.B. Pritzker announced that in the first month of legal marijuana, the state hauled in more than ten-million dollars in tax revenue. A portion of that money is expected to go to local police departments for additional training and crime prevention programs.
