Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Owners, Dale Spindler, James Gratz and S. Chad Ely, recently announced plans for expansion at their Keller Drive location. Their 4,000 square foot expansion will have an additional room, treatment area, expanded ICU rooms for smaller animals, as well as a cat only waiting area. “We are very grateful for this community and their support” and Dr. Ely. “The expansion will allow us to deliver the same high standard of care while also accommodating our tremendous growth and maintaining an excellent client and patient experience.”
Due to the tremendous growth over the last several years, Effingham Vet Clinic knew they would be in need of additional staff and the expansion of the treatment and exam areas to provide more efficient service for their clients. Recently, they hired Dr. Katie Shreve and welcomed back Dr. Jessie McKinney Schultz to the team. They also recognized the need for additional housing facilities for in-patient and critical care animals. This facility will now have the capability to offer grooming services in the future.
As for the large animal services, this addition allows for expanded overnight stabling for hospitalization. It will also allow for extended space for equine surgery. These state-of-the-art upgrades and expansion of services will allow them to serve their clients better. Additional parking will be added as well.
