Effingham County Highway Department Announces Road Closure

Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Effingham County Highway Department will be oiling Funkhouser Road (County Highway 24/1000th St from Rt 40 to 1125th Ave. Work to begin at 8 am Wednesday (8/4) weather permitting.

Please be aware there will be delays during this process, so please use alternate routes during this time. The County also requests that everyone use caution for a few days after oiling, as dusty conditions and loose rock may be present.
