- 24 year old, Dalton W Dasenbrock, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department on an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for possession of Methamphetamine under 5 grams. Dasenbrock posted $825 and was released.
- 30 year old, Jarrad T Armour was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for disorderly conduct and retail theft.
- 34 year old, Anthony M Munoz, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for driving while license is suspended, no valid registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Munoz posted $150 and was released.
- 18 year old, Cheyenne N Haston, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for criminal damage to property over $500 and theft of vehicle.
- 28 year old, Robert E Bone, of Effingham was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County failure to appear warrant for theft. Bone posted $1,075 and was released.

- Clay D Thomas, of Homer was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of 15-100 grams of Methamphetamine, and Methamphetamine intent to deliver 15-100 grams.
- 53 year old, Tammy J Williams, of Edgewood was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for possession of less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
CRASHES
June 8, 2022
- At 9:14 A.M. at the intersection of Keller and Temple a vehicle driven by Gary G. Goeckner, 74, Effingham, struck a vehicle driven by Ester M. Murray, 80, Newton. The impact caused Murray’s vehicle to leave the roadway, travel across a grassy area into a parking lot, and strike a parked vehicle owned by Allen Riedle, Vandalia. Both drivers as well as a passenger in Goeckner’s vehicle, Margaret R. Goeckner, 70, Effingham, and a passenger in Murray’s vehicle, Barbara A. Ross, 72, Newton, all sustained injuries. Murray, Margaret Goeckner, and Ross were all transported by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital for treatment. Gary Goeckner refused treatment. No citations.
- At 1:41 P.M. at 501 N. Keller a vehicle driven by Jacob M. Cornwell, 27, Edgewood, struck and damaged a light pole owned by Bank of Hillsboro. No injuries and no citations.
- At 4:08 P.M. south of the intersection of Keller and Heritage a vehicle driven by Brenden L. Kreke, 21, Dieterich, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Cody A. Scrimpsher, 25, Decatur. No injuries and no citations.
