Heat Wave Continues In Southern Illinois

Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)-Dangerously hot weather continues to hit southern Illinois.

The National Weather Service says temps will be in the 90s today with heat index values in the triple digits in the southern portion of the state.

An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect in that region throughout much of the day.
