Springfield, IL-(Effingham Radio)-The CDC is reporting only eight Illinois counties are currently registering “low” levels of COVID community spread.
Between July 3rd and July 10th, data was improving, showing 31 counties with low community spread.
Meanwhile, the number of counties listed as “high” community spread has gone up from 28 to 50 this past week.
Residents of those counties are advised to wear masks indoors.
