Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Cromwell News Team recently interviewed Technical Sergeant Kevin Lee Alexander to discuss his journey from civilian to a 13 year veteran as an Airman in the US Air Force.
Sgt. Alexander started by explaining his journey.
Kevin then explained what changes have been made to the GI Bill since it was introduced. He said it expanded quite a bit after 9/11.
Sgt. Alexander then went over the qualifications and requirements needed for a career in the Air Force.
Kevin also explained the different challenges he faces as a recruiter, and how it became much more difficult post-Covid.
He also discussed what new recruits can expect when they sign up.
