Teutopolis, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following was released on the Teutopolis Fire Protection District’s Facebook Page:
On Friday 7/14/2023 at 13:37 hours, Teutopolis with auto-aid from Montrose were dispatched to a reported multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 at mile marker 101.5 eastbound. This is within the ongoing construction zone. Upon arrival C600 reported 4 semi tractor trailers, a pickup pulling a camper, and 3 passenger vehicles all involved. C600 further reported no entrapment. All drivers self extricated from their vehicles. All occupants signed medical refusals. Rural Med EMS and ISP on scene as well. ISP Troop 9 investigating the cause of the accident.
