Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- This weekend brings a chance for severe storms.
Low pressure will move across the region this weekend bringing a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms. A line of storms will impact portions of west central and southern Illinois late Saturday evening and overnight.
More widespread storms are expected Sunday afternoon and evening.
An unsettled weather pattern will bring periodic chances for showers and thunderstorms to central Illinois through early next week.
