Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital recently honored members of its hospital leadership groups and medical staff for their service to St. Anthony’s at a festive event at the Holiday Inn in Effingham.
This event is held annually to thank members of the Board of Directors, various hospital committees, and the hospital medical staff for their service and commitment to the community. Nine Medical Executive Committee members were honored at the event for completing their term of service in the following roles:
- Dr. John Sudkamp, Medical Staff President
- Dr. Lisa Kowalski, Medical Staff Vice President and Bylaws Subcommittee Chair
- Dr. Greg Bismack, Past President
- Dr. Nitin Kumar, Secretary/Treasurer.
- Dr. Bashar Alzahabi, Credentials Chair
- Dr. Janna Henry, Medicine Service Line Chair
- Dr. Dawn McDaid, OB/Peds Service Line Chair
- Dr. John Powell, Surgery Service Line Chair
- Dr. Jessica Prange, Member-at-large
The hospital also honored members of the medical staff for their years of service to St. Anthony’s. St. Anthony’s annually recognizes all active members of the medical staff celebrating their fifth anniversary and subsequent anniversaries in five-year increments.
