Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation recently announced the Arts Connection of Central Illinois as the grant recipient of the Teutopolis State Bank Designated Fund.
With the grant funds, the Arts Connection of Central Illinois will host four Summer Youth Theatre Camps at the Effingham Performance center for school-aged children. Summer camps provide a unique experience for children interested in the live performing arts, whether they wish to be a star on stage, a costume designer, a promoter, a set designer, a marketing coordinator, or a member of the production crew. Each camp is tailored toward the age of participants to create rewarding and educational experiences.
The Teutopolis State Bank Designated Fund is a fund of the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation. It provides grants for projects that benefit the Teutopolis, Illinois Community in the following areas: civic, cultural health, health, education, and social services.
