Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- The growth in home prices is slowing nationwide. The latest Case-Shiller index shows prices rose at an annual rate of three-point-nine percent in September. That’s down four-tenths of a percent from the previous month.
New York, Cleveland and Chicago reported the biggest increases in home prices with annual gains of nearly seven percent or more last month. Denver posted the smallest year-over-year gain in prices.
