Jason Wesley Thomas, age 46, of Olney, passed away on March 24, 2025, at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the Antioch Christian Church, 2052 N. Higgins Switch Road, Olney, Illinois, 62450. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois.
Jason was born on December 14, 1978, the son of Marion and Annette (Runyon) Thomas in Olney, Illinois.
Jason was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. He loved fishing and being around people. Jason was very witty, with a wonderful since of humor. He never met a stranger. Jason was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He was also a very talented artist who loved to draw and paint.
Jason is survived by his parents Marion and Annette (Runyon) Thomas of Olney, Illinois, grandmother Katherine Runyon of West Salem, Illinois, sons Jacob (Jordyn Coulter) Thomas of Calhoun, Illinois, Levi and Tyler Thomas of Palestine, Illinois, brother Jesse (Brandy) Thomas of West Salem, Illinois, grandchildren Zoey and Carson Thomas of Calhoun, Illinois, nephew Zachary Thomas of West Salem, Illinois, nieces Brittney (Nathan Downer) Thomas of Albion, Illinois and Breanna Thomas of West Salem, Illinois and several Aunts, Uncles and other relatives
Jason was preceded in death by his grandfather Harry Runyon, grandparents Lonnie and Martha Thomas, aunts Betty Thomas Shultz and Ruth Thomas, uncles Terry Runyon and Charles Thomas and baby cousin Katlyn Barthelemy
