Recent Effingham High School Graduate, Taylor Crowell, will be the recipient of the University of Illinois’ Dorothy Stier Scholarship. Taylor plans to major in chemistry at The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The recipient of the $500 scholarship is is selected by members of the local PEO Sisterhood Chapter. The scholarship is available to female graduates of Effingham High School or St. Anthony School who will be attending the University of Illinois.
The scholarship is a fund of the Effingham County Community Foundation.
