Free Tax Assistance

In cooperation with the IRS, free tax assistance is available for middle- to low-income taxpayers with a focus on those 55 and older. Trained AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will provide confidential, no-cost tax preparation by appointment only. This service is offered at the library to ensure convenience and accessibillity to all. To schedule an appointment, call the library at 217-826-2535 starting January 13th.

Appointments begin Feruary 4th and go through April 15th.
