Effingham Public Library Two-Day Book Sale


The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library will host a book sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday March 14 and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 15.
The book sale features new, lightly used and vintage books in a variety of categories. Some of these are fiction, history, mystery, cooking, Christian, large print, military, biographies, nature, sports, travel, gardening, romance, young adult, graphic novels and manga, audiobooks, science fiction and self improvement.
Children’s books such as picture books and easy readers for levels 1 through 4, as well as chapter books, also will be available for purchase.
No items will be sold before the book sale date. Donations of good, slightly-used books are accepted at the library check-out desk during regular library hours. The library does not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, dictionaries, VHS tapes, magazines or vinyl records for the sales.
Proceeds from the sale will go toward special projects at the library. There is no registration for the event. A library card also is not necessary to attend.
