Win an American Girl Doll & Explore the Journey to Freedom

Marshall Public Library and the Friends of the Library invite the community to take part in an exciting raffle for a chance to win an American Girl doll, Addy Walker, along with her accompanying book. Addy’s powerful story follows her family’s courageous plan to escape slavery, highlighting themes of bravery, love, and the pursuit of freedom.

This special raffle is being held in conjunction with Looking for Lincoln’s traveling exhibit, Journey to Freedom: Illinois’ Underground Railroad, which will be on display from April 10 through May 30. The exhibit explores the history of the Underground Railroad and its impact on Illinois, offering a meaningful connection to Addy's inspiring story.
